We believe that our diversity allows for the greatest benefit of the whole, and thus, Beta Psi has been a leader in the community, the market, the fraternity and the future. The national fraternity has 197 active collegiate chapters and over 90 alumni chapters, and Beta Psi has never dropped below third in the fraternity's national ranking system. In fact, Beta Psi has been ranked the NUMBER ONE CHAPTER in the nation for the majority of those years. We are also only one of six to finance and manage a house.

We not only develop professionalism among our members, but we also take an active role in helping the community. We have been associated with the March of Dimes, American Cancer Society Heart Walk, America's Second Harvest of the Big Bend, and many other smaller organizations within our community. Members of Alpha Kappa Psi have been able to gain real world experience that will prove to be beneficial in years to come through involvement with the community, professional speakers and workshops, and teamwork.
