Beta Psi is dedicated to expanding the knowledge of its members in all aspects of business. From the first day you begin to pledge Alpha Kappa Psi, your interviewing skills, resume writing techniques, and networking opportunities are improved.

Not everything that a brother gets out of the organization comes from structured events. Many times it is the interaction with other members, as well as alumni, that gives brothers the lead on an open internship or the interviewing tip that helps to land a new job.

Beta Psi completes approximately ten professional activities each year. These activities focus on topics such as resume writing, first/second interviews, negotiating salaries and benefits, dining etiquette, career fair etiquette, graduate school and GMAT tips, etc. These activities can also be a company or corporate recruiter coming to speak to students about career opportunities within their field.

Our Vice President of Professional Activities organizes a Corporate Tour each Fall and Spring semester for its brothers and pledges. Corporate Tour is a weekend event in which members travel to a city such as Orlando, Atlanta, Miami, Jacksonville, New Orleans, or Tampa to tour its local businesses. Brothers and pledges will divide up by major and tour three to four different corporations/companies that are specific to their field of study. Beta Psi has previously toured Raymond James, SunTrust, Starwood Hotels, etc.
